Randy Alfred is a native of Houma born in 1950. He is married to the former Denise Marcel and is the father of Chris and Elliot and grandfater of Corey and Trey. Chris is on active duty with the U.S. Army First Infantry Division in Iraq. Elliot is married to Chelsea Dupre and they live with their two sons in Bayou Blue. Randy is a Randy is a graduate of Vandebilt High School and holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees from Nicholls State University and a Juris Doctor degree from Loyola University of the South in New Orleans. Denise holds a Masters Degree from Nicholls State University and teaches in a private school.
Randy has handled all types of legal matters in his 30-plus years of practice including many civil and criminal jury and bench trials. He served as a Special Assistant DA for six years in the early 90's. From 1985 until 2001 he was an adjunct professor at Nicholls teaching Successions, Legal research and Legal Analysis and Writing. Randy has been actively involved in real estate law for most of his years of practice. He has had the privilege of handling thousands of closings for area families and businesses and, of course, looks forward to handling many more. He is Attorney for the Bayou Board of Realtors.
